CNAME Records in Shared Website Hosting
If you have a shared website hosting plan through our company and you would like to create a CNAME record, it'll take you only a few clicks to make it happen. You can access the DNS records for all domain addresses and subdomains hosted inside your account from the Hepsia CP included with each and every plan and adding a new record is as simple as clicking on a button, picking out the type, that will be CNAME in this case, inputting the actual record value and saving the modification. If you've never added this type of record before, you will find a Help section with a detailed video tutorial you can watch, or you can simply contact us and we'll assist you with this task. If you have created a site via another provider, you want to use a private URL for your webmail or you would like to designate a subdomain to be used with the services of a different company, for instance Google Apps, all it takes is setting up a CNAME record with a few mouse clicks inside your CP.
CNAME Records in Semi-dedicated Servers
You're going to be able to set up, edit and delete CNAME records easily with all of our semi-dedicated server plans. The accounts are controlled using the custom Hepsia hosting Control Panel, and in one of its sections you'll see all records for any domain address or subdomain you have added in your account. To set up a new record, you only need to choose the hostname that will be forwarded (domain/subdomain), type where it is going to be forwarded to, choose the record type, that'll be CNAME in this case, and you'll be all set. In case you have never used a web hosting service before, our Control Panel is quite intuitive to use, so you'll not have any troubles. We also have a short video and a detailed help article on how to set up a CNAME record, both of which are located in the exact same section of Hepsia. With this feature, you could easily use a domain address hosted on our cutting edge cloud hosting platform for a website created someplace else, create a custom webmail login address with any of your domain addresses, and much more.
